Zed Medical provides configurable components that can be quickly and easily customized to meet a customer’s specific needs – along with the services required to integrate the customized devices into the customer’s product.
We provide all the services required to allow a customer to add imagery, physiological sensing, and intra-body navigation capabilities to their products.
Component Configuration
Zed Medical’s components can be easily added to an external customer’s products. For example, our 64-element flat image pMUT disposable ultrasound array-sensor can be quickly added to a customer’s existing catheter.
Component Customization
Our components are specifically designed to be easily customizable – within the design limits of each component - to meet the needs of specific customers. For example, the existing 64-element PZT array-sensor can be easily modified to support from 16 to 128 imaging elements and one pressure or temperature sensor.
Software Customization
Zed Medical’s imaging solution includes firmware that does the beam forming and other signal processing tasks required to form a visible image from the system’s electronic inputs. It also enhances and presents the imagery to the user.
We are also developing machine-learning capabilities that will annotate the imagery to make it easier for users to interpret the images without specialized training.
The firmware and software can be customized to meet the needs of a specific customer.
Integration
We provide all the services required to integrate the appropriate components and software into any external product.
